THE INDIAN RIVER RECREATION COMPLEX
201 Killingworth Turnpike (Route 81)
Clinton, CT 06413

From New Haven Area
I95 North to exit 63. At the end of the ramp, turn left. At traffic light, turn left onto Route 81 (Killingworth Turnpike). Proceed approximately 1 mile north on Route 81 (going toward pass the Clinton Crossing Outlets on your left). Entrance to the Complex is on your right. There is a large sign at the entrance to our park and the P & R Building is on the right (the only building inside the complex).

From Middletown Area
Route 9 South to exit 9. Turn right onto Route 81. Proceed on Route 81 (you will come to a rotary when route 81 crosses route 80) stay on Route 81 and travel approximately 3 miles south on Route 81 and the entrance to the Indian River Recreational Complex will be on your left.

From Old Saybrook Area
I95 South to exit 63. At the end of the ramp, turn left onto Route 81 (Killingworth Turnpike). Proceed approximately 1 mile north on Route 81 (going passed the Clinton Crossing Outlets on your left). Entrance to the Complex in on your right. There is a large sign at the entrance to our park and the P & R Building is on the right (the only building inside the complex).

Indian River Recreation Complex Consists
Of 3 Soccer fields, 90 ft baseball field, 1 Basketball Court (outdoors), 1.3 mile walking trail and the office for the Park & Recreation staff.

Peters Complex
Consists of 5 baseball fields, Basketball courts (lighted), Combination Little League & Softball field, Combination Football / Soccer field this is where Morgan High School plays football, Kiddy park, 1/4 mile track, Skateboard park, 4 tennis courts lighted, picnic area and pavilion.

Directions are as follows: I95 North to exit 63. Take a left at the end of the exit. Proceed to light and take left onto Rt. 81N. Go over highway to 1st light. Take a right onto Glenwood Rd. Go to 3rd stop sign. Entrance to park on left. Enter park. Annex field is the first field on your left. Huskies ( Football field with bleachers) field is the last field on your right (behind baseball fields).


HESER'S POND
Recreational facility at the corner of Airline Road and Old Nod Road. This pond is primarily for ice skating in the winter months. No swimming, No boating, No loitering, No bonfires, No Alcoholic beverages. Children must be accompanied by and adult.

CLINTON TOWN BEACH
Located at the foot of waterside lane. Beach passes are required and are available at the Town Hall. Restrooms, Playground, Concession stand, Outside showers, Volleyball courts, Pavilions, Grills and parking
facilities.

Above is the Clinton Town Beach.  To the right is the Gazebo at the point of the Town Beach with a great view of Long Island Sound.
